when you see me,
your not seeing the me
your seeing the me who
i appear to be.
Your seeing the one and only,
self proclaimed image of a happy girl
in a great little self inflicted state of world
Your seeing someone who you dont know.
just thinking wow shes so beautiful.
no one ever really gets to know the real me
and he who does, can really see
that when im alone at night
i begin to cry and put up a fight
thoughts of you strain my head
and follow me around right into my bed
Thoughts of you follow into my dreams
Things that you would never think of
take me into a world of thoughtless pain
my head begins to drain..
slowly and painfully as i forget about you
for now thats what i always will do.
i pretend your not there anymore
and my world is ful of things that
could be fixed without a care
but me, then inner me..
will know forever that your
still right there..only me
the inner me..the inner beauty
that only i can see.

Let me pause as I begin this new day to give it to you, Lord. Before the tumult of activities breaks in; before breakfast plates crash through my still sleepy mind; for this last moment in my bed, thank you, Lord.
Let me hold yor promise of new life. Keep me from slipping back for I know tha what is forgiven is as if it never were. Each new day, you grace gives me a fresh start to walk in your light again.
May the Lord support us all the day long, till the shades lengthen and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over, and our work is done, Then in his mercy may he give us a safe lodging, and a holy rest, and peace at the least. Amen.
